Lakewood Food & Wine

Bayaud Enterprises is hosting their 2nd Annual Lakewood Food and Wine event on Saturday, September 14th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Plaza. This community event is open to everyone! Enjoy live music, special wine tastings, and local food pairings.

The event will raise funds to support their innovative programs, and to raise awareness around the need for employment and housing for individuals and families with disabilities and for those experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Bayaud Enterprises was founded in 1969 to alleviate barriers to self-sufficiency for adults living with mental health and other disabilities. Now we also serve metro Denver adults and families from other underserved populations. We believe nothing is more fundamental to economic self-sufficiency than employment. In addition to our social enterprises that create jobs and job training, Bayaud services include job readiness training, and job placement services, including paid work experience for adults experiencing homelessness, mental health and substance use counseling, resource navigation, benefits acquisition support, adult education, and access to mobile laundry and shower services as well as our food pantry to reduce food insecurity.
